I had to have an intravaginal ultrasound this morning. Yep, they are exactly as they describe a huge wand is placed in a rather private area and is moved around to take pictures. I'm so thankful, my radiologist Melissa was gentle and it went well.

The results she could show me where that my right ovary was beautiful and had 12 visible follicles. My left ovary was hiding, but she did find it. It was difficult to view but she counted 6 visible follicles, but there could be more due to the difficulty in finding the ovary.

My endometrial layer was healthy and well placed. No visible damage or scarring and in fact she said I had the uterus of someone half my age. She also said if all IVF women had the same scan results then it would make their journey a lot easier.

I'm very excited that another step in my journey has been ticked off the long list. I have been using crystals to help me and I believe their help is fantastic. I've been using honey moonstone, rainbow moonstone lingham, and shiva linghams.

I will continue with my crystal therapy and I will be adding aromatherapy to my list too.

Now, all I have to do is await the first day of my period and ring the clinic for an orientation visit. This means I will be taught all the medications I need and at what stages to take them.
